We offer a variety of Bible studies and book discussions, open to all, led by the pastor and/or lay leaders. Study groups typically meet weekly.  Depending on the curriculum, studies cover between two months and nine months.   Recent studies have included in-depth explorations of the prophets, the letters of Paul, and the New and Old Testaments more broadly.  The pastor and lay leaders are always open to course study ideas.  Currently, one group meets on Tuesdays (click here for details), and one meets on Wednesdays (click here for details).  The North Shore Suffolk Cooperative Parish of six UM churches also offers book studies, as well as The Alpha Course, an introduction and expoloration of the Christian faith, which meets weekly for nine weeks.  In addition, the Cooperative Parish sponsors and ongoing informal discussion group at Portofino Café, 249 Main Street, Northport (near St. Paul's).  All programs are available free of charge.
