• We are one of 12 local-area member houses of worship in the Ecumenical Lay Council (ELC), a 501(c)3 nonprofit faith-based group that partners to provide temporary support for our neighbors in need.  The ELC operates a food pantry that serves more than 150 families, supports the Family Service League, Long Island Cares, and other outreach organizations, sponsors the annual Easter Sunrise Service in Northport Village Park, and partners with Youth Directions and Alternatives to supply Chirstmas gifts and school supplies for children of food pantry clients.  The ELC also sponsors the Carle Gandy Memorial Scholarship, awarded to a graduating Northport High School senior who has demonstrated a passion for service and is aspiring to a career in education.

  • We have lay representation in HANAH (Huntington Action Network Against Hate), a faith-based, Becoming Beloved Community initiative of Abraham's Table of Long Island.  News and suggested reading from HANAH are available here.

  • Our outreach includes providing music and games for the crowds visiting Northport's iconic annual Cow Harbor Day in the September and Northport's PrideFest in the park in June.

  • Our pastor, Rev. David Czeisel, serves as Chaplain for the Northpor Fire Department, as well as President of the AWARE Drug & Alcohol Community Coalition, focusing on fellowship, counseling, and intervention for youth.  Pastor David also chairs the council of the North Shore Suffolk Cooperative Parish of six United Methodist congregations that collaborate on a variety of mission outreach.
