Amanda holds a Masters Degree in Music Education from the Copland School of Music at Queens College with a Concentration in Choral Music. She is an NYS K-12 certified music educator and is experienced with directing vocal choirs and teaching music to children and adults in group and one-on-one settings.
Amanda is the founder, owner, and director of Long Island Music Lessons, LLC, which collaborates with a variety of professional musicians to offer lessons in the home and virtually for children, teens, and adults; organizes and stages recitals for students; and supports teachers across Long Island with referral services and arrangements for recitals. She is also a private teacher, an accompanist for the Commack School District, a former music and musical-theater teacher for the Northport-East Northport School District, the current music teacher and curriculum designer at The School House in East Northport, and a one-time fellow at the Conservatorio di Musica di Perugia (Perugia, Italy), where she composed and performed original compositions and directed the chamber music ensemble.
