Groups calling St. Paul’s home

St. Paul’s practices a long tradition of opening the doors of its buildings to the outside community. As the host of many regional programs that offer life-enhancing experiences to children, youth, and adults, our sanctuary and church school building are a vital resource for the health, well-being, and creative expression of hundreds of people each month.  See below for current programs we host. 

If your group is looking for space to rent, and you have a certificate of insurance, St. Paul's might be able to accommodate you.  You can download and fill out this form and send it to the address indicated.

St. Paul’s is home to programs that promote citizenship, community ties, and mental, physical, and spiritual health:

  • Weddings, baptisms, funerals, and memorial services of individuals from throughout the community
  • Counseling offered by licensed therapist Penny Gadzini, our Pastoral Care Pastor.
  • Alcoholics Anonymous
  • Sea Scouts Ship 270 for youth ages 14-21 intested in learning sailing skills with Scouting America
  • Train for Success builds character in addition to athletic skill in young people in a rigorous, basketball-based daily program.
  • Youth soccer uses the gym on a regular basis.

St. Paul’s has become known as the church for the arts:

  • Northport Opera Night offers soaring performances in the sanctuary each month.
  • The church is home to Northport Village Storytelling, a program of true-life stories told from the stage by the people who experienced them.  The program is modeled after the nationally syndicated program "The Moth."
  • The Playhouse at St. Paul’s is the venue for theaterical performances by The Debut Theater Company, founded by Northort plawright at Stony Brook University professor Anthony DiFranco.  Monthly workshops and readings of scripts by local playwrights are led by Northport Plays, Inc.
